We tried going to Trecaffe but there was a line, about 50 feet. Not interested in queuing for a caffe, we headed in a different direction, saw Bar Roma Centro - Decameron and decided to pop in. Much to our surprise, the cappuccino was the best taste, foam, and temperature combination I’ve had in my short stay here in Rome. It was also the cheapest when compared to the fancier stores with uniformed employees.

This café is obviously a place where locals go. It's slightly of the beaten path down an alley from a main street. The food was fantastic, best cornetto I've had in Rome, and I've had several since sweet pastry seems to be the breakfast of choice in Italy. The cappuccino was great too. Service was spot on and the 2 ladies working here were super nice. They also offer sofa, water, Gatorade and a selection of juices... pretty much everything you need to start the day. P.S. I'm not quite sure if this is the correct place since I didn't saw a brand name of the place we went for breakfast. One thing for sure is that there was a "Cafe Bar" signage in front of the place which is also seen in the image uploaded for this google map restaurant.Altre recensioni+12
Incredible little tucked away spot, the special canolli are wrapped in nougat and nuts, absolutely to die for

Ultimately the friendly neighborhood cafe. Great Sandwiches and Coffee. Multiple languages spoken. I was the only tourist in the cafe and enjoyed watching Italians meeting friends full of laughter and comradely.

Sweet spot out of the way of busy streets for coffee, pastries and sandwhiches! Super nice to sit outside and enjoy the treats. Try the crema cafe!!

Around the corner off the busy streets so that you have a nice, relaxing atmosphere while still seeing passers by but without the gigantic crowds. Prices and food (coffee, pastries, sandwiches) were great. Lady at the counter was friendly and very accomodating - and can converse in English.

Nice local place one street over from Google maps to Trevi fountain. Friendly staff and the host spoke Italian, English and Spanish. Pannini were good and filling for a quick lunch on your hike throughout Rome.

Came here 3 consecutive days, I was welcomed by a young man very attentive and polite while trying to practice my broken Italian. Last day a had a nice conversation with a young lady spoke English and Spanish. I had multiple great cafe and pastries were fresh. €1 per cafe and maybe €2 per cornetto

This is an excellent place to have Italian breakfast where romans go for it The orange juice is natural , coffee is great and the “Cornetto “ also was good And is not over priced If you are in Rome you have to come here they also speak English Spanish

What’s not to like, super nice guy working very early in the morning. Spoke great English and was happy to see us. The coffee and pastries were perfect. How could this not always be five stars??
